Mit dem DJControl T10 bringt Hercules einen neuen DJ-Controller auf den Markt, der sich klar an Performance-orientierte DJs richtet. Herzstück des Geräts sind motorisierte 10-Zoll-Jogwheels, die ein besonders realistisches Turntable-Feeling bieten und sich deutlich von den sonst üblichen kleineren Jogwheels abheben.

Vinyl-Feeling und präzise Kontrolle

Die motorisierten 10-Zoll-Jogwheels sind aktuell einzigartig im Controller-Segment. Durch ihre Größe und den Motorantrieb ermöglichen sie ein sehr direktes Spielgefühl beim Scratchen, Mixen und Beat-Juggling und kommen klassischen Plattenspielern spürbar näher als 7-Zoll-Systeme. Damit spricht der T10 gezielt DJs an, die Vinyl-Haptik schätzen, aber die Flexibilität eines Controllers nutzen möchten.

Aufbau und Software-Anbindung

Der DJControl T10 folgt einem klassischen 2-Deck-Layout mit Pitchfadern, EQ-Sektion, Reverse-Funktion und Performance-Pads für Hot Cues, Loops oder kreative Performance-Techniken. Der Controller ist für Serato DJ Pro ausgelegt. Die genaue Lizenzregelung zum Marktstart wurde bislang nicht final bestätigt, die vollständige Software-Unterstützung gilt jedoch als gesetzt.

Fazit

Mit dem DJControl T10 positioniert sich Hercules klar im Performance-Bereich. Große motorisierte Jogwheels, turntable-nahes Spielgefühl und Serato-Integration machen ihn zu einer spannenden Option für Scratch- und Open-Format-DJs. Mit dem neuesten Update unterstützt der CDJ-3000X ab sofort Apple Music. DJs können damit direkt am Player auf über 100 Millionen Songs zugreifen – inklusive persönlicher Playlists, Charts und DJ-Mixes.

Die Anbindung erfolgt über CloudDirectPlay und rekordbox. Der Login kann per NFC, QR-Code oder vorbereitetem USB-Gerät erfolgen. Voraussetzung ist ein aktives Apple Music-Abo, eine Internetverbindung sowie rekordbox in Version 7.2.8.
